You can turn one product into multiple products eg ecourses, subscription websites, audio products, webnars, vodcasts, podcasts, teleseminars, reports, articles - have you got the idea yet?
You can use the information from your product as part of your marketing material eg sales copy, free report, sample cds, book reviews, media releases, articles and videos for You Tube and other video sharing websites.
You only have to create the product once and then you can sell it globally over and over again - too easy.
You can use your information products as great affiliate products and get super affiliates to sell your product for you at a commission.
It can be your full time business or a passive income that can be automated to operate on its own once the initial set-up is complete ( more time for you to spend on holidays and down the beach with friends).

Information products really are a great way to make money on the web. If you are stuck trying to find a product I highly recommend starting with an information product it is a great place to start.

Find something you are passionate or interested in ( it makes the research that much easier)
Create a cheap website for your market research, I did one recently and just set up a www.weebly.com website and did a google adwords campaign to see if there was any interest in my topic
Once you have done your research and seen that there is a market for your idea, create your first ebook ( either write it yourself or get someone to write it for you)
Set up your website and then start promoting your ebook and website using places like www.ezinearticles.com
Keep, marketing and tweaking, marketing and tweaking
Then do it all again with another niche (this is what the Gurus do)

Once you get the hang of creating mini websites for different niches and start collecting lots of residual income you will start to see that it all adds up to quite a decent income. Don't get me wrong there is definitely work to be done, but once it is done you can enjoy the rewards. To your success.
